Castaway Cay
 All Disney Cruise itineraries include a stop at Disney's own private island - Castaway Cay - and once you've experienced it, you'll be glad that you didn't miss out on all the fun.
Many cruiselines have their own 'private' island - a place where cruise guests can enjoy the sun and the sand, relaxing and watersports without any 'hassels', long trips from the pier, or high port charges to the cruise line. Disney's private island is different from any other cruise line's in that the natural harbor has been dug out (costing millions of dollars!) so that the Disney Cruise Ships could dock directly on the island, without the guests needing to 'tender' in on smaller boats to shore.
From the moment you step off the Disney Wonder or the Disney Magic, you will be in the ultimate island paradise, where the good folks at Disney have planned for everything, from a big BBQ spread for lunch to every imaginable beach activity.

For kids, there are plenty of things do do, whether they wish to enjoy the special planned - and supervised - activities in the kids only area, including digging up Montro the Whale's bones or joining in races, treasure hunts and sports (while their grown-ups have a chance to sit back and relax on the beach). There's a teen-only beach with plenty to do, and even an adults-only beach located on the far side of the island, away from all the beach actvity.
