Key West
The Disney Magic pulls into beautiful Key West around 11:30AM on all Western Caribbean cruises. Key West may be a part of the USA, but in many respects, this southernmost point of the 48 contiguous states is a world away from the rest of America.
You'll have from 11:30AM until 7:30PM to enjoy all that Key West has to offer. All you have to do is stroll up the main street to experience the artists, shops, bars and street entertainment that give Key west its vibrant personality. While there aren't the great beaches that you'll find elsewhere, all sorts of watersports, boating, sportfishing and diving can be found on the island.
Ernest Hemingway was quite a fixture for many years on Key West, and his influence can be seen - and felt - at many of his favorite 'haunts' around town.

Speaking of 'haunts', there are many tours offered of various 'haunted' places and hotels around the island. In the late fall, winter and early spring, be sure to go down to the pier before getting back on the ship to celebrate sunset Key West style (sorry - summer cruisers will have to enjoy a later sunset from the ship). All manner of music, dancing, food and fun can be had each evening at the waterfront as the sun dips below the horizon from Key West.
